MAY NEWS 2001 Better Brinnon Coalition Activities
  • Twenty five people attended The Fish Eye on May 1 at the Brinnon Booster Club to hear habitat biologists and others discuss salmon recovery efforts in the Dosewallips and Duckabush rivers and other waterways.  Using maps from the 1880's and laser technology attached to helicopters, they are trying to understand the complexity of fish habitat and how we can help restore natural, healthy salmon runs.  Some of this research will help us better understand the floodplain and other watershed issues around Brinnon.
